Design-partner pilots are how Field Thesis gets shaped into something defensible — by running a real pursuit through the system, with a team that has the institutional knowledge worth indexing and the intellectual honesty to tell us where it falls short. Design partners run free for the duration in exchange for the kind of feedback that only comes from people who actually walk into the rooms.

A good fit

A partner or pursuit lead who's lost a deal in the last two years that, looking back, was lost in preparation rather than execution. A head of research who already works with calibration bands and source-locked claims as a professional norm. A firm with frameworks written down, prior pursuit work documented — judgment worth compounding rather than resetting every quarter.

Not a fit

Anyone shopping vendors. Anyone looking for a generic AI sales coach. Anyone who needs ratings, badges, or “as seen in” lines to take a meeting. The pilot is a calibration mechanism, not a sales motion.

The conversation

Thirty minutes. We learn the pursuit, the team, and the fit. If there's a match, you'll have a written scope within a week. If there isn't, we say so plainly — your time is the constraint, not ours.
